Women's Empowerment Testimonies:

In September of 2005, I attended a training held by Sheri Sharman that would forever change my life.  My brother insisted that I go to Champions with him and he was so persistent that I went just so he would quit bugging me...:) Little did I realize that on that very day my entire life would change! I didn't even get to meet Sheri that day but she so inspired me that I registered that day for Discovery "Awaken the Spirit Within" training which would be held in March of the next year in California.

I had low self esteem but Sheri taught me to believe in myself. She taught me to love the person I am. She gave me hope when it seemed like there was none left. She has taught me the power of positive thinking vs. negative thinking. She has taught me how fun it can be to dream....and to know that those dreams can and will come true.

In September 2007, I attended a Women's Empowerment Event in Michigan City, Indiana. Sheri has the most amazing way of making women feel beautiful. She makes everyone feel precious and loved. She makes us feel strong and capable of taking on the world. We know we can do anything as long as we have Sheri beside us. At the Women's Empowerment Event, she told me how much I have changed. It brought tears to my eyes because it has been my goal to make a change in my life, but to have someone like Sheri notice that I've changed, wow! She has the most amazing way of taking an ordinary person and shaping them into a whole new person who is EXTRA-ordinary!

In June I met my boyfriend Chad. We both come from dysfunctional families but because of all the personal development training from Sheri, we have a wonderful relationship. And, I have no doubt that it will continue to be so.

One of my dreams is to someday work closely with Sheri and help women realize that it's okay to have dreams and believe that they will come true...the way my dreams have come true and will continue to come true. To give them hope when it seems all hope is gone.

In the past three years, Sheri has taught me... "The secret...to living the life of your dreams...is to START living the life of your dreams, AT ONCE, to ANY degree that you possibly can."

Sheri Sharman, My LightHouse...

Where do I even begin? Sheri Sharman has been like a lighthouse to me, shining bright when I was surrounded by a sea of darkness, hopelessness, and fear. I was 21 years old when Sheri entered my life. Up to that point I was very self-destructive, frail, unhealthy, negative and quite honestly I was so hopeless and miserable I just wished I would die. I was an anorexic/bulemic at 90 pounds, had self-inflicted razor blade cuts and bruises. I could not see my way out, at least through being alive. I had already seen doctor after doctor, dozens of therapists, I had been inpatient in several hospitals, and no one had even come close to being able to help me.

I first saw Sheri on stage in Toledo, Ohio, in 2003, where I attended my first training. While in Nursing School, I had met some great people and signed up for a new business that seemed to have great potential. When I met Sheri, I met a woman who stood apart from anyone I had EVER met in my life. She had such an outstanding radiant glow, such a look of kindness and confidence I had never seen anything like it before . For the first time, I saw HOPE again and at that moment I made up my mind that I wanted to be just like her. With all my heart I desired to meet Sheri, get close to her, to learn from her, and to know her as a personal friend, NO MATTER WHAT it would take.

After a few trainings, I made my way through crowds of people to introduce myself to Sheri and to express my graditude towards her. Then, I went to a training I will never forget for the Rest of My Life! I went to an Elite Leadership Training in Michigan. For the first time, I got to be with Sheri on a personal level for coaching. She could see how bad I was struggling and she offered her help, support and compassion. She told me I need to care for myself and to be good to myself. Many people had told me that before, but her approach was unique and extremely heartfelt. She expressed on every level the fact that she cared personally.

As time went on I began helping setup at some trainings, I got on a lot of conference calls, I began personally emailing with Sheri and started getting bits of personal time, one-on-one with her. Being around Sheri was the most exciting thing that had ever happened to me! However, time around Sheri was not (and still is not) always easy. She did not (and does not) always tell me what I want to hear and actually it is often quite the opposite! Sheri has always had my best interest at heart and that is why she has always told me what I NEED to hear, which is the TRUTH, whether I like it or not! Let me tell you what...the truth hurts sometimes!

Anyway, the more I was around Sheri, the more I began to Love Life again. I remember hearing her say "Dream Big, Small Dreams Have No Magic" and that became my favorite line. I had not dreamed for a very long time. Dreams??? Ha, I just wanted to live to see tomorrow! Sheri showed me for the first time How to Dream Again and what Living and Loving Life is all about. She BELIEVED in ME when I did not believe in myself. She UNCONDITIONALLY showed me LOVE when almost every person in my life had given up on me. Most importantly, Sheri taught me how to LOVE MYSELF and to not let anyone take that away from me.

I am now 25, happy, positive, at a healthy weight, recovering and I truly Love myself and Accept who I am. And you know what...I am not so bad after all, in fact I am a good person...God made me just the way He wanted me to be! I am Loving LIFE and I am Dreaming BIG! Now I must continue to grow and share this gift with others. I must show PASSION (pass-it-on) to others who just like me, need unconditional hope, love and support.

"Sheri Sharman came into my life five years ago when I attending one of her training events. I spent a weekend there and I was so amazed and I learned so much that I kept coming back. Over the years of attending about one training per month, I watched my life shift dramatically. The personal growth I have gone through has been amazing.
